Avocado toast, take a knee; according to a recent Bank of America report, a whopping 95% of people buying their first home, including Millennial homebuyers, are willing to sacrifice life’s little luxuries—even pumpkin-spiced lattes, expensive travel, and fancy threads.

This data comes straight from Bank of America’s “Homebuyer Insights Report” (PDF) and offers a wealth of highlights. For example, the report reveals that 68% of Millennials say that their first home is a stepping stone towards their dream home:
“Millennial homeowners see the value in buying early but realize it may mean putting their dream home on hold for now. Their experiences can motivate would-be buyers to purchase sooner.”
So, even second-time homebuyers understand that being a little frugal can go a long way towards achieving your home-buying goals.
